My philosophy is a donut; everything in our lifestyle is linked to each other creating a chain effect that runs in a cycle just like the circular shape of a donut. I believe that physical activity is the key to a balance lifestyle where we can enjoy eating the food we love in moderation and enjoy conquering challenging activities. The fear of not knowing where to begin and the fear of being incapable should not stop anyone from getting active. Together, we can explore the possibility of the body’s capability to excel in different exercises while finding the joy in doing so!  

I am currently completing my third year of the Kinesiology program at the University of Toronto and am certified in Personal Training through CanFitPro. I attended the Olympic instructor workshop at the NCCP super clinic in process to obtain the Olympic weightlifting instructor certificate. I have trained for Olympic weightlifting competitions held at the University of Toronto and trained as an athlete under the coaching of world champion Alex Varbanov. I have also experienced training with various powerlifting programs in the past as a member of the Iron sport club.

Thor is an AFAA certified personal trainer and SCHWINN-certified indoor cycling instructor. He is a seasoned personal trainer and has worked with private clients for the past 8 years in exclusive and tailored settings across South America, the Caribbean, and Canada. Before that, he toured parts of Europe and South America with two different dance companies as a principal dancer, specializing in breakdance and hip hop. With a specialization in strength training and weight loss, Thor believes in cultivating a supportive and strong relationship with his clients around their goals and workout plans.

In my sessions you reach your objectives fast, healthy and with much fun. More than 18 years of professional experience as a personal trainer refined my style. After all this time and experience in the fitness industry, I am very motivated and excited about my work as a personal trainer and manager of the company, the success of our customers, the advantages of the individual 1:1 private coaching and the diverse coaching styles: Strength and shaping elements, yoga, back stabilization, functional training, flexibility, agility, athletic fitness, cardio, vitalization and breathing techniques, etc. After my health science studies and the start of my career as a personal trainer I lived from 2005-2007 in Asia, where I studied ancient yoga. Finally, the next years my vision of founding Royal Private Coach in Germany/Europe and building a worldwide team of coaches became reality and 2019 I moved with my wife to beautiful Vancouver to establish our teams in Canada, US and Asia.
